At SEA we believe everyone should do whatever they can to help with keeping our planet alive, we are committed to support this in all ways we can.
We are committed & working towards improving our knowledge, how we work & who we work with, to reduce the environmental impact & support a greener environment.
What we do now
- Manage our office environment to reduce, the use of paper, use recycled & recyclable materials
- Reduce the use of energy & water, turning off equipment & switching off lighting when not in use. Consider new and improved products when up for renewal
- PIR lighting is used in WC’s & Kitchen areas
- Use of environmentally friendly cleaning products
- All of our Company cars are Hybrid. Supported by charging stations on site
- Specify materials from sustainable sources on our Projects when comparable
Our future focus
- Building our knowledge as directors & training our team to support our mission
- Specifying materials & products that are sustainably sourced, minimises waste & non-renewable gases
- Where possible use local companies to avoid international shipping
- Rebuilding our design library to support recycled, recyclable, eco friendly & sustainable materials & suppliers who share this mission
- Review & consult staff annually to ensure we are meeting our objectives
- Run CPD sessions on sustainability to keep our staff’s minds focused
- Minimise Transport whenever possible
